Praveen Bhandari

- Managing Director and Board Member, Sun Global Investments Limited

Praveen is a banking & finance professional with a career spanning 25 years in Global Markets and Investment Banking across IFC, Deutsche Bank and now Sun Global where he is a partner. By profession, Praveen is a CA (from India) and MBA (from IIM Ahmedabad) and started his career with KPMG. Praveen and his family have close ties to India and Rajasthan and have been actively associated with TRF for over 20 years. He is particularly passionate about the engagement of the next generation and youth in the activities and endeavours of TRF.

Krati Jhaver

Krati has graduated from Monash University, Australia, with a Master’s in International Business, and she has spent over a decade in the retail industry with brands such as Colour Plus in India, Harvey Nichols, and Signet Group in the UK. As the founder of two small businesses—*Candles on Cake, a flower and balloon hamper company, and The Front Row, a platform that brings Indian designers to the UK—she had the privilege of combining entrepreneurship with community impact. Her past partnership with TRF through The Front Row* has strengthened her commitment to using business as a force for good.  She believe TRF’s true strength lies in bringing the community closer, uplifting those in need in Rajasthan, and making a meaningful difference in their lives, and she is eager to help drive this vision forward through her role at TRF.

Bina Agarwal

- Director, Stone World London

Bina Agarwal is the director and co-founder of Stone World London, supplying natural stone to commercial and residential developments within the UK and abroad. Having studied Behaviour Modification in Calcutta, Bina then joined the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy as an honourary teacher, devoting her time to improving the quality of life of her students. In the UK, she has continued to support various organisations in their pursuit to help those in need. Bina hopes to contribute to TRF’s efforts in Rajasthan and help increase exposure and awareness of the Foundation.

Rajesh Chechani

- Chartered Accountant, Harrow

Mr. Rajesh Chechani is a Chartered Accountant specializing in tax management and bespoke financial advisory services. Since moving to the UK in 2003, he has established Sinclair McKinsley, a thriving accountancy practice, and Sinckot Group, a property development company. Mr. Chechani has also held notable leadership roles contributing to organizations such as Maheshwari Mahasabha UK, where he served as President, and the Lions Club of Southgate, where he acted as a Trustee and Director.
Born and raised in a rural village in Rajasthan, Mr. Chechani maintains a deep connection to his roots. Reflecting on his involvement with TRF, he shares, "TRF made me feel at home when I was far from home. Engaging with my community, embracing our shared culture, and giving back to my homeland has been incredibly rewarding. I aspire to bring that same sense of belonging to all my fellow Rajasthanis in the UK.

Dinesh Chowdhury

- Delivery Lead/Solution Architect

Dinesh Chowdhury is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has previously worked at PwC, IBM & Accenture in their Business & IT consulting practice. Dinesh has been engaged with other charitable organisation like RISE Community & London Sharad Utsav. Dinesh is keen about providing a strong platform for Rajasthanis in UK (& Europe) as well as join hands to support the cause of children & adults in need.

Shailja Agarwal

- Director Athena Captial

Shailja is an honours graduate in Political Science from Calcutta University and has an advanced diploma in advertising and public relations. She has worked with ANZ Grindlays Bank in consumer finance in the past and is presently a partner in a boutique investment bank. Shailja has also been involved in teaching and assisting young children with learning difficulties. She has been actively associated with Rotaract Club and other social groups and charities. She has been an active member of TRF since inception and hopes to continue to contribute towards the growth of TRF and its objectives.

Varsha Dahad

- Active committee member and proponent of TRF

Varsha Dahad has been an active committee member and proponent of TRF since the inauguration of the Foundation. She is a Masters graduate of SNDT College, Mumbai, and more recently has carried her creative experimentation through to a business venture in events catering. She is also a director at Sangam. She is involved in various social organisations and loves to meet new people!

Sandeep Tyagi

- IT Leader

Sandeep Tyagi is a seasoned IT professional with an MBA from Warwick Business School. He has devoted over 8 years to TRF and holds the distinction of being a founding member of The Sanskriti Foundation. Mr. Tyagi possesses a deep-seated commitment to uniting communities, broadening TRF's impact, and enlisting the youth in fulfilling the organization's mission.

Poonam Goel

- Director Indoglobal

Poonam Goel, a London-based MBA and ACCA, is an award-winning philanthropist and the founder of Indo Global Ltd, specializing in marketing, finance, and real estate. She co-founded the Go Green Initiative, promoting global sustainability and emission reduction. With a deep commitment to community service and strong ties to her Rajasthani roots, Poonam actively supports TRF’s mission to unite communities in London and India, making a positive impact through her philanthropic work.

Pooja Maru

- CA

Pooja is a corporate finance professional with over 2 decades of experience . She is currently a partner at Jiva Capital Partners (Anand Rathi UK) and co-leads the energy and resources practice . 

Pooja is also actively involved in the philantrophy side having cofounder Vidyapath, a UK charity focused on education.

TRF Youth

TRF uniquely creates opportunities for Rajasthani youth in the UK to immerse themselves in the rich culture and historical legacy of this vibrant Indian state. Through its Keynote Speaker Series, TRF inspires young people by connecting them with the most successful and distinguished members of the community. Additionally, TRF encourages youth to come together to share experiences, motivate one another, and participate in charitable activities, fostering a strong sense of community. As a membership-based organization, TRF currently comprises approximately 1,000 families, including professionals and renowned business entrepreneurs, who contribute to the foundation’s dynamic and supportive environment.

TRF brings Rajasthanis in the UK together, through cultural and charitable events within the community.
